The black clip is very strong so I use that in lieu of pinching and then I use 2-3 rainbow clips to hold the piece together. The black clip moves around as I finish replacing my hand pinching and the rainbow clips stay stationary until I get to them sewing to hold the two sides together. I only need a few rainbow clips, but pack extra since they get lost and break.
Why do you use the black mini clamp AND the little clips? 100 clamps?!?
