Extra finishing clinics, round ornament class, painting class, and a stitch and learn with Dogwood Needlepoint
Happy December,
The year is almost over and Christmas is just around the corner! This month is going to be a bit different. In lieu of a monthly topic, we are going to load up on events and classes curated to help you guys get that needlepoint ready for holiday gifting. We are going have extra finishing clinics, a chart reading/ painting class, and a round class to help whip up those last minute ornaments.
Housekeeping:
I know it can be hard to find certain topics. As a reminder, the NashvilleNeedlepointer Table of Contents will be your best bet to search and find all tutorials, written guide, and uploaded recordings. I would recommend bookmarking this for quick access.
December Bonus:
Do you ever finish ornaments and find the hanger is twisted and your needlepoint keeps turning backwards? This simple trick can help untangle the loop and help it hang properly. You may need to repeat it a few times, but eventually the loop should loosen and hang properly.
Stitch and Learn with Abigail from Dogwood Needlepoint

This month, I’m excited to host Abigail from Dogwood Needlepoint!
Abigail is the creative mind behind Dogwood Needlepoint and lover of all things needlepoint! She believes creativity is an essential part of life, and have found so much joy in designing and painting needlepoint canvases. She loves all projects, big and small, but designing custom stockings is her favorite!
Here are some of her designs! Abigail might have a little fun bonus for those who join the call.

This is a dedicated time to work on finishing with other stitchers in a supportive community environment where we can freely share tips and tricks. Lita will be available to answer finishing questions and provide virtual handholding. Bring your tricky finishes for free consultation and hands on virtual help.
Canvas Painting Class (December 15th at 7:00 PM ET)
Have a chart for charity you want to stitch? This class will cover how to read a chart and canvas painting basics. We will discuss supplies, best practices, and common mistakes.
Stitch and Learn with Abby from Dogwood Needlepoint (December 16th at 7:00 PM ET)
Join us as Abigail shares a bit more about how she got started in needlepoint and what her goals are for the coming year.
Round Ornament Class (December 21st at 3:00 ET)
Need a refresh on how to finish basic ornaments or interested in learning for the first time? Join this class as we cover basic round ornaments and get those gifts ready for holiday gift giving!
