Happy Friday!

With the warm weather just around the corner, I’m finding that I have an extra spring in my step (pun intended) and have been filled with inspiration and energy. I filmed these tutorials on a whim and while it would be strategic to save this for a busy month, I just couldn’t wait to share!

Below is a short video explaining how you can easily make an acrylic stand up with only a couple extra finishing steps. The invisible cording tutorial can be found in the previous post titled “Square/Rectangle Finishing”.

While this is the simplest way to have the piece stand up, the piece will seem to levitate over the surface. I prefer a second method that allows the piece to sit flush to the surface. It’s a bit more work, but gives a beautiful professional finish.
